The Game: In this feature-packed soccer game, you’ll face teams from another world. You can create your own team, build sIt's a casual football/soccer game with superpowers, career modes and team creation. Zeebo F.C. Super League was the main title launch of Zeebo for Christmas 2010, and was regarded by the Zeebo community as the best game ever launched for the console.

My Contributions

Considered by the community as one of the best games available for the Zeebo console in Brazil, and one of the last few games launched for the console before it was shut down, Super League was the culmination of my team's 3 years of experience with the Zeebo platform.

Those were years of a lot of learnings - sometimes painful learnings - on how to create good games for the platform, avoiding its many pitfalls and hardware or OS limitations. Every video game console has a life cycle where games in their first couple years are on average not as crisp as games by the end of the cycle, and Zeebo was no different.

We made so many improvements to our custom engine for Zeebo, and created a number of tools creation to extract the maximum from the platform and its Adreno graphics as possible.

Unfortunately the life cycle of Zeebo was a short one, but I consider Super League to be the best we could have done with the resources and knowledge we had.

The game is developed in C++ using the native BREW and Adreno SDKs, as well as an internal OpenGL ES custom engine made by Tectoy Digital and Zeebo Studios.
