Published by Atari, Faeries vs. Darklings was a mix of match-3 and action game launched for Facebook in 2010, in the peak of the social gaming wave. Back in those years, the video games industry was at peak interest about Social games. I designed most of its concepts and systems to find a publisher and funding to develop a first version for this game.

The game was originally developed in JavaScript and HTML for the original 2007-2010 Facebook and social gaming cycle; later, the Arcane edition for Android was developed in Unity 3D and C#.

Back in 2009 to 2011, the video games industry was at peak interest about Social games. This is when Zynga was skyrocketing to the top and Facebook games like Farmville were all the rage within games business. I wrote this GDD to find a publisher and funding to launch this title.
