Blood & Glory 2: Legend

Platform: Mobile (iOS and Android)

The Game: A sequel to the first Blood & Glory, launched less than a year afterwards, this game didn't reach the same heights of the first title - partially because we didn't have the same timing with a great new Apple device - but it was nonetheless a profitable endeavor with a smaller team and a more lean pipeline, it reached #3 Top Downloads, it was a hit at App Store and one of the best-looking games of iOS in 2012. And back in those days, one of the most successful games ever developed in Brazil!

The core mechanics remained the same with few improvements, but we upped the graphical bar with new shaders and production values with new assets and a storyline via comics-like panels. Progression mechanics were substantially improved with the addition of a map and better character leveling.

My Contributions:

  • I led a team of up to 18 as producer and product lead to significantly improve on the vision of the first game;
  • Game systems design;
  • Team and project management;
  • Wireframing for UI/UX design;
  • Stakeholder management, working in Brazil but reporting to an overseas HQ (in San Francisco).
